1. Terms and Conditions: Unless otherwise expressly agreed, our Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions between the organizer, the operator of this website, and the customers. This includes services such as providing ski lessons and guiding and accompanying customers during alpine skiing and snowboarding, providing tennis lessons, and offering travel packages.

1a. General Terms and Conditions of Participation: The contracting party must truthfully and fully inform the ski instructor, the tennis instructor, or the organizer of his or her skiing abilities and experience, as well as his or her tennis skills and general physical and mental abilities, and must independently ensure that he or she has equipment appropriate to the level of skiing technique and the external conditions, as well as a Tennis apparel, such as tennis shoes He is responsible for bringing any necessary equipment for the event. He must also fully inform the ski instructor, tennis instructor, or event organizer of his physical abilities, particularly his state of health and any medical conditions. Before the start of the lessons and the trip, the contracting party must independently arrange for a specialized shop to inspect the ski equipment (especially the ski bindings).

1b. Terms of Payment: The ski instructors at Tom Vau Adventures and the tennis instructor or tour operator are free to request a deposit of at least 50% of the invoice amount via bank transfer after a written booking confirmation has been issued.
The invoice amount is due within 10 calendar days of receipt of the invoice. Payment may be made in cash or by bank transfer. If the invoice recipient is late in making payment, we are entitled to charge late payment interest at a rate of 5% per year.

1c. Cancellations:

Tennis

  • Cancellations made up to 48 hours before the start of the reservation will be charged at 50% of the agreed rate.
  • Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the start of the reservation will be charged at 100% of the agreed rate.

All other activities

  • Cancellations made up to 1 month before the first day of the reservation are free of charge.
  • Cancellations made up to 8 days before the start of the reservation will be charged at 80% of the agreed rate.
  • Starting 7 days before the start of the reservation, the total amount of the reservation will be billed.

Adverse weather conditions are not grounds for cancellation. In the event of a cancellation due to an accident or illness during a ski vacation, a medical certificate from a local doctor must be provided so that the corresponding days are not charged.

1d. Liability: Tom Vau Adventures warrants that the ski instructors, tennis instructors, and tour operators listed on the website hold valid professional licenses and are authorized to independently provide ski and tennis lessons or organize trips. In general, ski instructors are liable only for damages directly related to their work as ski instructors and caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence. A corresponding professional
